Use this tool if you are a non-UK national and you want to find and apply for other visas from outside the UK.
Find out what you need to do to apply for a visa
To apply for a visa, you will need to complete the application form and answer in English.
You may also need to:
- pay for the visa fee online
- pay the health surcharge
- provide your biometrics (fingerprints and facial photograph)
- provide your tuberculosis test results (if you are resident in a country where you must take the test)
- provide your passport and other supporting evidence
How long it takes to complete the application will depend on your particular circumstances. You will be able to save your application and come back to it at another time if you need to.
If you are inactive for 25 minutes, you will be automatically logged out.

We may also share your information with other public and private sector organisations in the UK and overseas.
