If your passport, travel document, or other documents are being held by the Home Office, submitting this form means we can return these to you at the airport before you leave the UK.
Note that we will not be able to help you if you plan to travel on Sri Lankan Airlines, as they do not transport people without immigration status.
What you need to know before applying
You will be able to save your application and come back to it at another time if you need to. If you are inactive for 25 minutes you will be automatically logged out.
There is no charge for using this service.
Call 0300 004 0202 if:
- you have already booked your flight and it is in the next 7 days
- you currently have no fixed place to live
- you are unable to set up an email address (an email address is required to complete this form)
What happens next
The Home Office will contact you within 3 working days to let you know they have received your form.
We may ask you to provide further information to support your request. If you do not do this, your request could be delayed or we might not be able to help you.

We may also share your information with other public and private sector organisations in the UK and overseas.
